It has to be, and we build it that way. Pool fencing and balustrades are designed to meet or exceed AS 1288 and AS 1170 for glass type, fixings and load, so the finished job is both open and up to code.
Yes. We use toughened or laminated glass rated for the setting and fix it to hold the required load, engineered to the standards for fall protection and wind load. Laminated glass in particular holds together even if it is ever broken.
Frameless gives the cleanest, most open look; semi-frameless with slim posts is a little more economical and very robust. We will talk you through both for your staircase and quote the one you prefer.
